The donations are used by the Board of Trustees for current and new projects run by the Dr. Rau Foundation. Donors also have the option of supporting an individual project.


Donations



Essentially, a donation is the same as any other expenditure. You want to be sure that your money is well invested. Without precise answers to the questions of where and why, the investment makes no sense. Only those who know the goal will find the motivation for the journey.

With your donation to the Dr. Rau Foundation, you are helping to support specific, manageable and controllable medical and educational projects. You can be sure that your money is making a positive difference.

MEMORIAL DONATION.

The loss of a loved one is a difficult moment. Many bereaved families wish to create something lasting in memory of the deceased.

With a memorial donation to the Dr. Rau Foundation, you provide direct support to children in developing countries, giving them hope, education, and future opportunities.

Suggested Wording for Obituaries:

“In memory of [Name], we kindly ask, instead of flowers, for a donation to the Dr. Rau Foundation, Universitätstrasse 65, 8006 Zurich. Donation account: CH63 0683 0735 1386 8514 3. Reference: In memory of [Name ].”

Important Information

  • Please include the name of the deceased with each transfer so that we can clearly allocate the donations.

  • Upon request, we can provide pre-printed QR payment slips.

  • All memorial donations are personally acknowledged by us and used daily to benefit children and future generations.

  • If desired, the bereaved family can receive an overview of all donations received.
